Cinematic Music for Games, TV & Media

Martin Haene

Martin specializes in composing for electric and acoustic guitars and programming in various styles for media productions and films. He has had many placements in US productions, including work for Dreamworks, ABC, MTV, and Lions Gate (feature films). His strength as a composer is in his clean, commercial guitar-driven tracks, which are highly successful in their own right, and also offer an excellent counterpoint to the emotional ethnic textures offered by Sandro and Dom. He is well versed in dance, pop, metal and other popular styles of music.

Alexius Tschallener

Alexius is our primary orchestral composer, arranger and programmer, who works in Hardstudios in Switzerland. He has composed and recorded for large orchestras and works with state-of-the-art sampling and recording technologies. His references include some of Switzerland's top acts: He is musical director for Comedy duo Divertimento and has worked as an arranger for "Music Stars" (the Swiss version of "Idol"), and Pepe Lienhard, among others. His international credits include contributions to productions with international stars such as Tina Turner, James Christian (House of Lords), Francesco Araiza, and compositions for the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

Sandro Friedrich

Sandro adds over 200 different ethnic wind instruments to the musical spectrum of Composers4Games. As a studio musician he has worked on epic games such as "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands" ( Xbox / Wii, Ubisoft 2010) and "From Dust", Ubisoft, 2010 with game music composer Tom Salta, and "Bodycount" (Codemasters, 2010) with composer Mick Kiely. Sandro has also worked with some of the world’s leading film music composers, including Howard Shore and Shigeru Umebayashi, and recorded with artists such as Andreas Vollenweider and Tina Turner. As composer and musician his strength lies in the originality and passion of his melodic lines, the power of his rhythmic grooves and his ability to competently and flexibly create diverse musical atmospheres.

Dominik Johnson

Dom is a composer, producer and studio musician based in England who brings a spicy bouquet of ethnic plucked instruments to the team’s compositions. His sounds add an unmistakable touch to the music that no sample library could ever offer. As well as playing ethnic plucked instruments, Dom also mixes and produces. His own work can be heard in many productions of the BBC, NBC and ABC soundtracks and he has done sessions for some of the UK's top media composers such as Ian Livingstone (My Big Fat Gypsy Weddings) and Richard Jacques (James Bond 007: BloodStone).
